Bollywood actress of the 90s Pooja Dadwal is suffering from tuberculosis and is admitted to a Mumbai hospital. The actress, who starred opposite Salman Khan in Veergati, reached out to the superstar few days ago through a news portal. Abandoned by her family, Pooja has is going through a financial crisis and expects help from the Sultan star. Addressing Pooja Dadwal's condition, Salman Khan spoke about his co-star during the Da-Bangg tour press conference in Pune. Salman was not aware of Pooja's 'difficult phase' he told the media during his interaction. "We are trying to help as much as we can. So I think Aunty (Helen Aunty) was already onto it and taken care of it. In fact, I didn't know that she was going through this difficult phase in her life but, umm, yeah, I think she will be okay," Salman told the media in Pune.

Meanwhile, Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan extended a helping hand to Pooja Dadwal reports Hindustan Times. Ravi Kishan, who has worked with Pooja in director Vinay Lad’s film, sent her money and fruits to the hospital. Since Ravi is currently shooting for a film, he sent his acquaintance Pappu Yadav to help Pooja as she has no money for her medical treatment. Although Pappu Yadav refrained from disclosing the amount to HT, he said that Ravi Kishan often helps those in need.
Pooja Dadwal was admitted to Mumbai’s Shivdi hospital 15 days ago and told Bombay Times on March 19 that she tried to contact Salman Khan but he hasn't responded as yet.
“I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea," Pooja told Bombay Times.
Sources also told Bombay Times that Pooja has been abandoned by her husband and in-laws and that her condition has been degrading because of her dire financial status. Pooja Dadwal also worked in the films like Hindustan and Sindoor Saugand.
Salman Khan, along with Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif, Daisy Shah, Sohail Khan and others is currently in Pune to perform for his fans as a part of the Da-Bangg Tour. The actor is gearing up for the release of Race 3. He will soon kickstart Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat and has reserved a Christmas slot for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick 2.
