Finally! Karan Johar ended all speculations about the leading ladies in Tiger Shroff starrer 'Student of The Year 2'. Sequel to his much-loved 2012 college romance which was launchpad for Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra's career in Bollywood, SOTY 2 is also going to see fresh faces on the big screen. Apart from Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday are also ready to go to college for this one.

KJO tweeted the poster with the three main lead actors and wrote, " Here is the CLASS OF 2018! Ready...Set....See you in the theatres on 23 November 2018!" He also shared Sutaria’s photo and referred to her as “new admission to the class of 2018, the girl who is in it to win it”. He finally he introduced Panday as the latest entrant of the school and sharing his picture, wrote, “And finally! Presenting ANANYA – joining class of 2018 at Saint Teresa! Welcome to the movies! #SOTY2”
While some people on social media praised the actors and their look for the film but major of Twitterati bought back the nepotism debate once again. Remember Kangana Ranaut had called KJo 'flag bearer of nepotism in Bollywood' on his chat show Koffee With Karan and now SOTY 2 has been named as 'Nepotism 2' on Twitter.
Apart from launching Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in SOTY 2, Karan Johar is also producing Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor's first film 'Dhadak' and even Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Arora's daughter Sara Ali Khan' film 'Simmba'.
